General Setup Guidelines

Google Apps for Education Set Up
Our main site at google.com/a/edu lists the latest in our offering and many recorded videos and webinars providing overviews and demos of the products, as well as customer stories and support resources. It's very easy to sign up for Google Apps and I recommend reviewing our Guide to Going Google to pilot the offering. The step-by-step Deployment Guide is especially helpful. 
Please use the following channels for your potential implementation questions:
Everyday questions:
We recommend joining and posting to our Google Apps Users Groups to learn and share best practices or custom solutions,and ask everyday questions to over 600 existing Google Apps customers in online forums and offline meetups. Our community management team moderates forum discussions and sends important product and event announcements to the mailing lists. There are also other customer communities listed on the users groups site for support.

Troubleshooting, technical issues, or support questions:
Open a Support ticket from the Support tab in your Control Panel. For system critical issues we recommend calling Support for the fastest response time and including as much information about the issue as possible.

Requesting escalation on support ticket:
The Support team typically responds back to tickets or communications within 48 hours as noted in our Life of a Support Case guidelines. Please request an escalation or response with the the support representative directly - it will help them to know the impact and reason for urgency on your ticket.
